These post earrings were inspired by the beauty of herons and I wanted to honor them by carving them onto silver.
What makes this design fun is not only that each earring has a heron on a different pose but that the order of the stones have been alternated to create a mismatched design.The top has a coin shape adorned with a handmade trillium flower.
Each earring has a beauriful faceted moonstone.
The earrings are finished with a handmade earring post that will come with a safety back.
These earrings are entirely made out of 950 silver and have been oxidized to make all the details pop, buffed to a soft shine and made with lots of love, heart and attention to detail.
The total length of the earrings is 2 1/2".
Heron Post Earrings
All designs are hand-crafted, slow-made in small batches. Because of this, no two pieces are alike and as all handmade items some may have natural imperfections.
This slight imperfections are marks that will remid you that each piece was made by real hands, remember that as I hand-carve, engrave and forge each leaf, flower and creature I give character to each design and I like to think perhaps a little bit of soul.
