All started with a hummingbird illustration and then I made it come to life by carving it directly onto silver.
I made the hummingbirds to mirror each other and adorned them with handmade trillium flowers. They gracefully dangle from a handmade hook ear wires that will come with safety backs.
What makes them fun is their mismatched design where I alternate 2 ethically sourced blue Peruvian Andean opals. 
 
These earrings  are made out of 950 silver that has been oxidized to make all the details pop, buffed for a soft glow and made with lots of love, heart and attention to detail.
These birds hang 2 1/2" from the ear wire.
